NHL’s Corey Crawford to sign a two-year deal with Kings
Corey Crawford will sign a one-year, two-way contract with the Kings, according to a source with knowledge of the deal.
Crawford, who was acquired by the Kings from the Tampa Bay Lightning in a trade with the Boston Bruins on Wednesday, has one year remaining on his current contract with $5 million in salary-cap hit remaining.
He has been an unrestricted free agent since March 26.
The Kings also received a conditional second-round pick from the New York Rangers in the deal, which moves the team to No. 1 in the West.
