Stars acquire brand boutique feel for the first time
The Dallas Stars have signed brand boutique fashion company Brand Ambassadors to a three-year contract extension that will pay them an average annual salary of $3.4 million.
The Stars have been actively scouting brands in recent years, and they signed a brand boutique deal with J.
Crew in 2011, signing two former players to apparel deals.
Brand Ambigators also worked with the St. Louis Blues for several seasons, before signing with the Dallas Stars.
The team announced the new deal with Brand Ambenges last week, saying that Brand Ambigators has worked with both Dallas Stars and New York Islanders in the past, and that the club is looking forward to continued partnerships with Brand Ambassador brands.
Brand Ambassadors will be working on a variety of apparel and accessories for the Stars in 2017-18.
The team will begin testing apparel and apparel accessories in late September.
The brand ambassador will also continue to work with the team on player development, player development projects and other player-focused initiatives.
Brand Ambassador contracts are typically worth $3 million annually.
