Girl, 5, is ‘really excited’ about shoe boutique in Japan
A 5-year-old girl is “really excited” about a shoe boutique she is in Japan and the children’s boutique is making her a lot of money.
The owner of the small boutique, who asked to remain anonymous, said her business is opening in the spring and will open a second location in the fall.
The children’s store will also open a new branch in the next few weeks.
Her business started with one child and she now has more than 300 customers.
She said she wants to open the shop in a Japanese fashion district, but said it would not be the first Japanese shoe boutique.
“The only reason I’m able to open it in Japan is because of the popularity of Japanese fashion and because there are lots of other stores,” she said.
The children’s shop will have different styles, such as boy and girl shoes, a children’s toy and even a men’s shoe, she said, adding that she is also selling dolls, toys and books.
“I want to open a business in Japan where there are many shops like ours and the prices are reasonable,” she added.
