Baby boy boutique in Kerala set to reopen with a new name
Kerala’s Baby Boy boutique, which closed in 2013 after a decade of operation, is set to open with a brand new name on Monday.
The boutique, located in Purnell, will reopen with the name Baby Boy.
Baby Boy was the brand name of a local brand of diapers in the city for nearly a decade, and was revived by the state government to be the state’s flagship baby-care brand.
The new name will be a nod to the brand’s heritage and the “family” that runs it.
The brand is also set to feature in a series of ads by the brand, which will run during the state assembly elections.
Baby Boy has a loyal following across the country and across Kerala.
Its brand is popular with parents of newborns, who prefer it over traditional baby products.
